The May 7 Concert: Historic Turnout and Fan Energy
The opening night concert on May 7 delivered the energy fans had been waiting for since BTS’s last visit to Mexico in 2017. Approximately 50,000 ARMY members (BTS’s fanbase) gathered at Mexico City’s Zócalo (Constitution Plaza) on May 6 after BTS met with President Claudia Sheinbaum at the National Palace. The band members appeared on the palace balcony to greet the massive crowd, dressed in elegant beige and navy-blue suits, and captured the moment on their phones as they were visibly moved by the reception.
BTS member V expressed the group’s gratitude to the fans, saying, “We’ve missed Mexico so much. The energy here is incredible. Thank you so much for loving us so much.” The presidential meeting and the palace appearance proved to be defining moments of the Mexico City leg of the tour, highlighting the cultural significance of the group’s return to the country.
The May 7 concert at Estadio GNP Seguros drew fans from across Latin America who had secured tickets to the sold-out show. The energy and turnout reflected the nine-year absence and demonstrated that BTS’s popularity in Mexico had only grown since their last visit.

For the Remaining Shows (May 9 & 10)
Tickets for the May 9 and May 10 concerts are available on resale platforms (SeatPick, StubHub, Ticketmaster resale) starting at approximately $670 USD and going significantly higher depending on seat location and demand.
